Woow! Amazing Food and Service

 by JIM BROOKS

Been eating at Steakhouse #4728 ,Midlothian, Va since it opened.
My brother and I ate there last night.
It seems you no longer have oil and vinegar for salads,
so nothing came on the salad.
Baked potato skin was hard as leather,
8 oz Filet was seared on the outside, undercooked on the inside. No seasoning, cheap cut of meat, even A1 sauce didn't help.
Sorry to see the change in quality.

No star, but this makes you put a rating or they don't take it. I say -5 stars. We've been going to Outback since we visited my parents in Florida probably 30 years ago. We went out on 1/13/2023. There was only 1 guy taking the meals on his tablet. He prefaced it with I just order I don't make the food. He was the only 1 taking orders. There was a busboy and that was it. I ordered the Outback sirloin with the shrimp. What I got was a horrible piece of meat that was burned on the top. I ordered medium. I took a bite and couldn't chew it. I had to go to the door greeter to get someone. I just had a knee replacement so this was not easy. She said she'd get the manager. He never came. Our guy with the tablet came over to tell me it was sirloin and if I want a non chewy piece of meat, that I should have gotten a Victoria's filet. I know my steaks. I am going on 74 and have eaten my fathers steak that he put on the grill until it was good and dead. I got another steak with 75% boiled, not steamed, broccoli. It was a center cut as they promise on the menu and not when I tapped it with my fork it didn't sound like a toise shell. We are AARP members and we get a 10% discount on meals at Outback. We spent $130+ dollars. They never took the 10% AARP money off. I am so used to the service we used to get at Outback, that this came as a shock. I am rethinking where we will go to eat again! Probably Texas Steakhouse. I don't know what they did but service was really poor! Store 3912 Springfield, PA No comp no manager. Very Bad Service!

Inverness outback is no longer my favorite place to eat. I can't even begin to explain how horrible I was treated by a so called manager. I ordered a $120 worth of food and they were unable to deliver it, (door dash does the deliveries for them now) The person who answered the phone the 1st hung up on me because i asked how to get my delivery fee back, they said "call door dash" I said "I literally just got off the phone with them and they told me to call you" Click, hang up. I call back and asked for a manager, the person who answered said they were the manager. He would not listen to me when I was telling them that I paid through outback's website and had a receipt from outback. He refused to listen to me and kept telling me I needed to call doordash to get a refund and also refuse to give me the information to call doordash. He told me my only options were to come pick up my cold food that was sitting there and he would give me a gift card for $8 to refund my delivery fee or I could wait till the next day and call corporate but those were my only 2 choices and I needed to make a decision or he was gonna hang up on me because I was talking too much. I said that I would come get the food since it was my kids but I still didn't understand why when the charge on my bank account says outback and my emailed receipt said outback, but he again threatened to hang up on me, I needed to make a choice. So I said I was coming, however I ended up having my husband go there. He called 1st and somehow mysteriously gets a refund even though when I call I get made to feel like I'm stupid for asking a question, get laughed at while I'm crying, and told over and over (by this so called manager) that it was IMPOSSIBLE to refund the money and belittled me for 10 minutes before he even offered the gift card for $8.00 on a $120 bill. Why would I want a $8 gift card from a place that treats people this way. I love this place until last night.

This is about your Outback in Huntsville Al on Whitesburg Dr. Our visit took place the evening of 7/19/22 We arrived at approx 5:50PM Sat at table # 402, Receipt # 0241 On the ticket it says Server: BAR 1 B The server was a black women about 5'9" long hair and as ARROGANT as she could be! In my 72 years I have never seen anybody waiting tables (for tips) that arrogant! It took her 50 minutes from the time she took our food order-until she came back with the order, She put it on the table, grunted something I could not understand and left. I had to wave her down to get some steak sauce for my wife. And when I say she was arrogant--you have no idea how arrogant she was and remained!
Then as we prepared to leave ,she could not have been nicer!
Check your security cams out to see this loon!! The tab was $61.33 -I tipped her $5.00 in hopes she would get the message. I doubt she has. On top of this I could find no where to email the local Outback where this happened.
This woman does not need to be representing Outback, even if she stayed outback and out of sight! Yes, she was that bad
My wife use to stop on Friday evenings and get us carry out. In fact most Fridays. That will stop!! I don't know who hired her, but they should be fired too! I know business is rough right now. I happen to own a company that isn't as big as Outback but we do employee 131 locally. My wife and I will share out adventure with each and everyone of them and their families!
We won't be back to see you.
Sincerely
Bob Wilson

decided to visit outback on cortez road bradenton fl on friday night at 7:30 pm 30 july 2021 seated promptly. no service from then on. wait staff walking past our table constantly watched one talking to customer at bar for about 20 minutes. finally asked one person going by if someone was assigned to this table. in about 6-8 minutes person walked over and asked what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order i said bring our drinks and then we will give you order now the time is 8:00 pm no drinks no nothing she finally comes over i said just forget it she looked at bar and our drinks not visible. she said she would go check. i told her no, i believe Nicholas is manager of this facility. perhaps he should try to get service in his facility. this place needs lots of help. no wonder this is one of restaurants on going out of business list. perhaps corporate should check these places out send a person to evaluate service. probably would not be a nice story. very very bad. thank you

Cathy and I went back to Outback this afternoon after complaining about a previous encounter. After we returned home from a great meal and experience this time, The Manager called. I let her know that today the experience was great. I also liked how she relayed positive directions for the staff there. Very nice recovery after a bad time previously. Everyone has a bad day, I think that was a bad day that has been remedied. Well done Sebring Outback.

My husband and i had dinner at the outback steakhouse in Royal Palm Beach, Florida tonight and i was deeply disappointed. We have not been there in awhile die to the Covid pandemic so i was looking forward to an evening out. As usual, we started out our meal with a bloomin onion which did not taste as good as i remembered. The batter did not seem as seasoned as it use to be although the crispness was there. I always have a side of your ranch dressing with it which was not the same either. It lacked the usual flavor as well. However, when it came to my entree (i had the Alice chicken) it was so spicy i could not eat it. My husbands outback special was rather burnt on the outside but medium in the middle which he ate. Our server was so busy that she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything or to check to see if our food was ok. I eventually found her as we were ready to leave and she was very nice and took the meal off my bill. I dont know if you had to switch vendors or what but i do hope you go back to the recipes that made your chain so successful. Also, please put the apple crisp desert back on your menu. That was the best desert on the menu and i am not a big apple person but that desert is one of a kind and very good. Best of luck with your restaurants. I hope you are able to stay in business but you will have to go back to your original recipes that made you so successful.

Best wishes!

Today was New Year’s Eve and my wife wanted prime rib. I recommended Outback here in Kokomo Indiana. She thought great idea and recommended that I order on line due to availability. We submitted our order at noon and requested a 6:20 pm pick up. We were so looking forward to this and as I was warming the car up at 6:05 I received a call from Outback and the lady said Prime Rib was sold out and couldn’t fill our order. I told her we put our order in early to avoid this situation. She informed me that orders are not looked at until 20 minutes before pick up time. I was furious and told her this ruined our New Years Eve dinner. She said sorry but wasn’t very convincing. I did not curse but once again furious enough that a good thing I was not at the location. I will never go to Outback again and since my Drs office is in this town I know a huge number of people that reside here. I will make a huge effort to tell as many people that I can not to go to Outback. My evening was ruined and I do hold. A grudge for a long time. I did ask the lady what she could do to resolve Outbacks mistake and she said void my bill. You got to be kidding me.

My husband and I went to Outback in Roseville Michigan on Sat. 3/7/2020 for my birthday. I had looked forward to this for a couple of months, I love the blooming onion and could not wait. I made reservation for two, we arrived and I was pleasantly surprised that there was not a lot of people there. There were several empty tables. We sat and waited and waited until finally I asked for a supervisor, Greta came over and she explained that people call in and I said we could at least be seated and she stated most people don't want to be seated and ignored by the server. I agreed not ignored but advised that there would be a wait and at least we could be seated comfortably while waiting. She asked the young lady at the front to seat us however; when she left the young lady sorely walked to the back and kind of tossed the menus down. I said thank you and she did not open her mouth. I felt disrespected and unwanted. I did not m feel valued at all. I will not go back to that outback. I called and asked for corporate office and ended up with Greta ( the same supervisor) she said Jake the owner would call me. He did not and I called again and was told he was not in and Greta was the only supervisor there and she was on the phone. Apparently Jake does not care either. Well either so many businesses going out of business you would think the would care. I absolutely love the food at Outback but I am not willing to pay to be ignored and or unappreciated. I wish Jake had called, this experience was much to tragic to explain on paper I needed to talk to someone. We went to Harbor House and had a delightful experience, and fantastic food. That is our new spot.
