I run AAA service calls as an independent operator in south Florida. Some people in this business call them the evil empire because they are far and away the biggest motor club on earth. One thing you must realize down here the fleet is small so calls are mostly handled by private contractors. This means you could get a new guy or someone who has decades doing it. When you call a primary company will get the job first, then AAA will go down a list of backups when the ETA becomes too long.
They were very helpful. I do miss that they do not carry travel products any more, ex: bags, etc
