Quite the experience on, 4/10/2023 day after work I went to a Bloomindales Chestnut Hill in Massachusetts to Shop for my niece her birthday and for my mom’s birthday. While I was there i decided to look at some reading glasses to match my face, however I had my cell phone in hand and decided to open my little side purse to put my phone away the sales clerk saw and Everywhere i went the clerks followed me along with other , never asked if needed assistance but followed me in shoes department to tell me I am not allowed to bring reading glass in the shoe dept. i would say no and move on to another dept, but instead I handed her the reading glass and I asked to speak to the store manager, I told her but who knows if manager ever spoke with the clerk, I said to manager “Don’t judge a book by its cover because sometimes an old book is worth a lot more than you think”. Being a long time 20 years+ customer for Bloomingdales store as unlimited black card member I spend a significant amount each year, was quite something else.
