I would start by saying Capital one is the best card company out there for middle class struggling trying to repair their credit. I found them to be the best for me. No Annual fee. A little high on the interest side but approved is what we all want. A fresh start. A chance for the hardworking American. I have always been approved when others say sorry. Nope. Capital one says, "Hell Ya."
Wish I could give no stars! As a disabled veteran, I went into local Capital one bank to ask to change some $20.00 bills to $10.00 bills. (just 2) and was told no because I did not have an account. Your printed "sales pitch" touts how wonderful you are to military and you your local bank could not show common courtesy to a disabled veteran! Hypocritical! It certainly is not the way to get new customers for sure. I am hoping to discourage any and all veterans who currently bank with you to change banks. I hope every business owner who is a veteran shut down their business accounts. I've only just begun!
I have always paid my bill with you, more than you ask, yet you have raised my interest charge to over 27% ! Why? Is it because I am over 80 now? I have challenged entries on my credit reports, which are inaccurate. Such credit bureaus are notorious for their inaccuracies. Why don't you assess an interest rate related to MY ACCOUNT WITH YOU and my history of payments? IF YOU DID THIS, MY INTEREST RATE WOULD PLUMMET. I am troubled about this issue, but expect to be ignored by you. At least you supported my governor, For that you get a star. You will get no more stars until you treat me fairly and lower the interest on this account.
