When I ordered Earth Link I was told 79.95 for Internet. I paid this and then I was told I would have to pay $76.95 for 1 month service. Well the 1 month linternet service only last about 3 days and inorder to watch a football game on Sat. Night I had to purchase100mg+b for 50$. Well that last. 3 days and wadssnd was cut off. So I had spent over 200.00 for about 6 days. I was then told my account was using data which I never knew. How could anyone afford an acount like this. I was not told the truth by customer service. Oh well they did credit 25.00 which is insulting. Mabey customers should join a class action suit to stop the way customers get cheated with no company help customer service is a joke that is if they answer. Now I see why there only 1 star.
Extremely disappointed due to inability of call center to upgrade my earthlink account. No internet for a week. Second time discconnected. Have spent hours on phone and have talked to 16 customer service reps who keep transferring me, or need to check with their supervisor or another department. Now told, have to have second installation, but only after installation charge is paid. Customer service was to charge account and haz since called back two days later to confirm they could charge my account.
