It's amazing how long my LG kitchen appliance works. I bought the dishwashing machine like a decade ago and it still does the job. Whereas my friends are always complaining about theirs and some of them have changed several of them in this time.

My actual Rating is negative but that is missing in above rating.LG India has collected money / payment of Rs.9632 (Difference in cost between returned defective model and purchase of a new model) on 25.6.21 from me (ignoring my email request for a proforma invoice on 22.6.21) and awarded multiple punishments including a penalty (instead of compensation for 3 abnormal failures 53+5+69 days to big family of 14 members) Rs.8640 for one year use of defective model without invoicing and without issue of money receipt in violation of accounting standards and consumer laws and proved that LG is following unfair trade practices. I am pursuing LG India for the pst more than 800 days to get a money receipt of Rs.9632 , an invoice of Rs.44192 for purchase of new model in return of defective model on 8.7.21, warranty card on 14.7.21 in my name and address, receipt (Goods Received Sheet -store accounting) for returned defective fridge to LG on 8.7.21 but LG failed to resolve my grievance causing undue hardships and harassment as senior citizen elite LG consumer. My escalations to CEO and LG India and Registered post AD complaints dated.23.8.21, 5.9.21, 5.12.21 and 23.6.23 are yet to respond by LG. I expect what is Right as right but not what is wrong as what is Right.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!

We purchased a TV on 11/26/21. The picture went out on 6/14/22 we went to Best Buy they said we were covered but LG had to be called. I have called several times and was told that I would be call and someone would come and decide what needed to be done. As of 6/25, no call back to set an appointment to resolve this issue. I am disappointed because I respected your reputation. My phone # 914-474-3361

LG continues to sell refrigerators with known to fail compressors.
Seems that Customer service representatives have been trained to say whatever will appease customer regardless of whether information is true, but most likely not.
Customer service representative stated credit card number was taken only to hold to make repair appointment and that I wouldn't be charged if tech determined the reason for non working refrigerator was compressor. The problem was the compressor and i was charged.
I went ahead with claim for reimbursement for food loss and within 48 hours received a text that claim denied. When I called to follow up,
Customer service representatives repeatedly read off a script.
Claim to BBB resulted in more of the same rhetoric from LG.
That will be the last LG product of any type, ever.

Dear Sir,
I'm an LG customer from Egypt writing to you since your agent her in Egypt failed to repair my LG washing machine Model F1222TD5, because they do not have the spare parts and they said that it is LG policy worldwide is to stop supporting products and maintenance and spare parts after certain no of years and LG do not produce spare parts for this model any more.

The above reply from your stupid agent here in Egypt was shocking to me, and I do not think you can apply such a policy in any country in the world except in Egypt.

form the long discussions and replies I received from your agent I concluded that.

1- I was mistaken when I bought imported LG washing machine while I could have bought an Egyptian washing machine at half price ( in Egypt you can maintain the durable goods and buy its spare parts forever).

2- LG policy is to blackmail its customers in Egypt and force them to buy LG product every few years by not supporting the maintenance and spare parts for the products after the guarantee period.

3- LG deals with the Egyptian market as a market for the LG defected product where the rejected products from the customers or the traders are offered to the Egyptians at a discounted price.

4- LG agent in Egypt achieves its sales target by cheating the Egyptian customers and not telling them the fact that the LG product will not be supported after the guarantee period.

LG must be honest and respect its customers all over the world and deal with the Egyptian customers as equal as other customers in the world and if such above policy is true( not supporting the products after the warrantee) then it should be clearly written , and well known to the customers at the time of purchase.

LG is committed literary and legally to repair my washing machine at a reasonable cost, and I hope by contacting you my problem is solved and the required spare part (electronic Board) can be found.

لدي غسالة LG ولم يتم اصلاحها بواسطتكم بسبب عدم توافر قطع الغيار بحجة ان قطعة الغيار تم وقف انتاجها وهذا طبعا سبب غير مقبول بالنسبة لي ولا اعتقد ان شركة LG يمكن ان تكون هذه هي سياستها في عدم توفير قطع الغيار في اي مكان في العالم سوي في مصر .

انتم مسئولون قانونا بصفتكم وكلاء لشركة LG عن اصلاح الغسالة وتوفير قطع الغيار اللازمة وسيتم تحميلكم بالتعويض المناسب عن كل يوم تتقاعسون فيه عن اصلاح الغسالة .

عندما قمت بشراء الغسالة ماركة LG كان بسبب السمعة العالمية للشركة ولكن للاسف واضح ان الادارة المصرية وضعت لمستها علي سياسة الشركة في مصر واللي هي سياسة لابتزاز العملاء واجبارهم علي استبدال مالديهم من اجهزة بجهاز أخر جديد وسداد ثمنة.

ما تقومون به في مصر هو مخالف للقانون

مخالف لقانون حماية المستهلك

مخالف لقوانين وزارة الصناعة والتجارة المنظمة للوكالات الصناعية والتجارية

مخالف للقوانين والنظم التي تتبعها شركة LG في باقي دول العالم .

والدليل علي ذلك هو رفض جميع ممثليكم الذين تعاملت معهم في توصيلي بالتليفون لاي مدير مسئول في الشركة

رفض اعطائي اي عنوان للشركة

رفض اعطائي عرض مكتوب بخصوص الاستبدال

مرة اخري انتم ملزمون قانونا باصلاح الغسالة المعطلة وتوفير قطع الغيار اللازمة
