I love my Meritage home!!! I would like to say it was a process buying our home. But our construction manager Jaime Moore he is absolutely amazing!!! He was always right on time with all updates, concerns and questions. I don't think we would have survived the headache of this process without him. He always remained positive even when we had doubts. Meritage you should be very proud of the guidance and hard work he provides. I Wang to say thank you to Jaime and his crew for building our beautiful home.

My Fiancée and I have a newborn child, Meritage Homes does not care about you. We ran into some difficulties with having a newborn and we where denied our loan. now the representative for Meritage homes is denying our deposit of $10,000. He will not reach out to upper management to see about getting our deposit back. Meritage homes will pressure you and reach out to your lending company trying to get information about you when they are not allowed to inquire from another lender about your own information this shows how much Meritage cares about its clients. My fiancee and I are not backing out because we want to we cant simply get the house. All the money we worked hard for and wanted to put down for a house for our son is now being takin away by Meritage homes so we are desperately trying to reach out to corporate to get our or to anyone who will listen. We have no home to buy and we have no money due to Meritage taking it all from us with a new born child who does that? we are new parents new home buyers and this is the example Meritage sets for its future clients why? please someone reach out who understands and wants to help us get our deposit back please.

We moved into our home on October 30th. Upon the closing of our house we were given all the warranty information along with all the items that were installed in my home, ie: Stove, Fridge, A/C, Smart Thermostat, Smart Garage door, Smart door lock AND a ring doorbell pamphlet.

When we moved into our home we were told that the Ring door bell would be installed within the next 5 days of us moving in. We followed up week after our move in and were told it would be installed "next week". So, that week went by and nothing happened. So, we followed up again the following week (this would have been day 10 of us having lived in our home) and were told, again: It will be installed next week, there was an issue with the order but they got it resolved and it will be installed--don't worry. Well, day 14 came around and we still did not have our ring doorbell AND worse, no one followed up with us to tell us anything about why it wasn't installed.

So, day 15 comes around and we chase down the community manager for our area (Austin) and he tells us that the item would be delivered to his office and he would get it installed for us in a few days. I told Austin to just hold off on installing it until we met on our Day 20 inspection. Day 20 comes around and we do our walk through and low and behold --NO RING DOORBELL! Again, we were told that there was an issue with a work order and it wasn't only our home being impacted by this but there were many houses on our block that were affected and they didn't have the correct doorbells but would be getting those ordered and resolved ASAP.

So, let's fast forward to tomorrows day--we will have lived in this house for 30 days. We took our dogs for a walk and low and behold...AT LEAST four or five houses down the street that moved in AFTER US have their (wait for it.....) RING DOORBELL installed!!!! At this point it is an insult to us. Something that should have been installed within 5 days of us moving in is STILL not on our home AND the houses that have moved in just within the past 3 or 4 days ALREADY HAVE THEIR DOORBELL INSTALLED.

This is an absolute insult. I need to speak to the Director of this community if not the Vice President of this community. I honestly feel like we've been singled out and that we are being targeted to not get this installed. One of the primary drivers of me deciding to spend $320k+++++ on this home hinged on the smart features of this home and key item WAS the ring doorbell.

I realize this is Thanksgiving week but this response cannot wait. I need a response ASAP. It is no longer acceptable to tell me that the item is on back order. This needs to be addressed tomorrow (11/27/2020).
