Petco in Holly Springs, North Carolina is by far the best pet store. I love everything about this store and the staff is second to know. But most of all I love my groomer Jessica. I recommend her everywhere I go. She does an outstanding job on my poodle Max. and I will not go to anyone else.

When I received my dog food order, the shipping box was torn, mangled and wrapped in shipping tape , because the box was in bad shape.

I went to the Petco on Stubner Airline and Louetta in Spring.,TX on Sunday 04/06/2019 it was almost 7pm and we were told the dog wash was closed for the day and it closes at 7pm. We returned one week later on 04/13/2019 at 6:08pm. As we headed back to the wash station a guy carrying dog food on his shoulder said welcome what can I help you with? I said we are good we just need to use the dog wash station. He then said nope the dog wash closes at 6. I said no we were told last Sunday it closes at 7pm on Sunday and he said nope you were told wrong the store closes at 7 and you can not use the dog wash after 6pm. It was 6:08pm and we waited an entire week since we were told we had until 7 to wash our dog the week before. Why stay open until 7 if your not offering full services past 6pm? Why would you not let someone use it at 6:08pm? Why are the hours not posted as Dog Wash closes at 6 on Sunday? If your employees do not want to be there on a Sunday they should not come to work on a Sunday. In retail you do not get off on time and that is part of the retail business. If he already closed it down early and we came within plenty of time to use it and be gone before 7pm then we should have been allowed to use it. We spend money there on a regular basis. I went to the Petco on Kuykendhal to buy the food and other items we needed. They do not have a Dog Wash station there but, they did offer us a grooming appointment. Very poor and rude service. If you are going to close the dog wash station earlier than what the store closes then post it and make sure everyone is on the same page.

This company needs a serious reality check at their stores! I have been a customer for 15+ years, the service, staff, rewards program continues to decrease year to year. Staff turnover is rediculous . This company is your typical large corporate budiness where the executives ate overpaid and have no first hand knowledge of running a business in the field they oversee. Ie. I believe the recent CEO was previously from Coca Cola. Not sure how that relates to the pet business, except he kniws how to increase revenues while no concept of customer service in the pet store industry. So typical of large corporations, invest all their money into overpaid executives, while the stores are struggling. Your most important asset is the people in the stores on the front lines dealing with the customers. The company need some serious restructuring.
