Booked a business class ticket by Bpay and had two simple queries, I tired to text but the number given refused to accept this. tried the tel.no. but the shortest wait time was 4 hours. The local Perth office has been closed, so there is really no means of contact. I would have expected better from this company which is always praising it's customer service. I got my queries answered outside of the qtas network, but that really isn't good enough. Qtas get your act together and lift your game.

I personally fly Qantas for long haul almost every year. because I know it is one the most safe airlines in the world.
but I really think their fleet need to be updated. their 744 or A388 are getting old now compare to some other international airlines.

Went to Shanghai for the China Import Expo with Qantas, I have flew with more than 15 airlines during the past few years, I would say Qantas's service level would be the number 1.

Qantas Airlines history

Qantas was founded in Winton, Queensland on 16 November 1920 as Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited by Paul McGinness and Hudson Fysh. Fergus McMaster joined them as Chairman, as did Arthur Baird to take care of aircraft maintenance. McGinness left QANTAS for other interests in 1922, and Hudson Fysh remained with the company as General Manager & Managing Director. He retired as Sir Hudson Fysh KBE DFC, Chairman of QANTAS in 1966.
